Metalúrgicas Cembranos and Gonvarri Industries, Spanish companies devoted to manufacturing automotive components have joined the platform Autoparts From Spain, an initiative promoted by SERNAUTO in collaboration with ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones to amplify the visibility and competitiveness of the Spanish automotive company industry at the international stage. Autoparts from Spain also works on positioning the industry on experience, technology, innovation and quality
In this way, Metalúrgicas Cembranos and Gonvarri Industries have decided to empower their international business processes by profiting from synergies offered by Autoparts from Spain to increase visibility of their companies in strategic markets for the Spanish component sector.
Metalúrgicas Cembranos started its journey more than 50 years ago, developing stamping activities to eventually today cover automotive fields such as component welding, group assembling and 3-D laser cut. “Throughout the years, we have been growing as tier1 and tier2 by manufacturing high-quality products and offering a top-service vocation” the company highlights.
Regarding Gonvarri Industries, it also has a long history in the business -a 60-year run- focused on diversification and international expansion. This manufacturer is devoted to aluminum and iron transformation. At its facilities, the metal experiences a series of processes to make products fit client needs. Also, “our main aim is the ongoing improvement of products and services to strengthen relations among clients and suppliers” the company states.
Then, both manufacturers assure to be convinced that, together with Autoparts from Spain, they will consolidate their presence abroad, empowering their presence in current markets and breaking into new ones.
The Spanish industry of automotive components is continuously looking for adapting to standars demanded by technology and automotive digitalization. In fact, up to 16 million vehicles on European roads -according to Berg Insigh- will have built-in Internet connection, therefore we can call them “smart phones on wheels”.

In 2021, the Spanish automotive supplier sector exported €19,669 million, which means a 10% increase compared to 2020..Regarding 2019, a -5.2% decrease is observed.
