AFS member companies are aware of the importance of promoting sustainable mobility. This is why they devote a large part of their investment in R&D&I to this objective.
From 16 to 22 September, the European Mobility Week was held, an initiative that encourages and promotes sustainable mobility in Europe.
Spanish Automotive Equipment and Components Manufacturers sector is aware on the importance of sustainable mobility, and they take up this factor. AFS’ companies are investing, for decades, in technology, systems and components development which allows more efficient, safe and sustainable vehicles. So, sustainable mobility is one of the main R&D&I investment points, focused on developing new mobility ways which reduce polution levels as an important matter to fight against climate change.
In this regard, Spanish automotive components companies are aware on the proximity of a paradigma change. And they are going to adpat to it. This could be a great business opprotunity if they take advantage properly.
Plenty of AFS’ companies are involved in the manufacturing of systems and components for more efficient and clean vehicles. This is this way because these companies understand the changes in mobility as an opportunity and also as a commintment that every sectors should take up.

In fact, up to 16 million vehicles on European roads -according to Berg Insigh- will have built-in Internet connection, therefore we can call them “smart phones on wheels”.
