Automotion plays a strategic role in many countries’ economy. In Spain, concretely, it represents a 10% of GDP and has a highly interconnected effect: from parts´ manufacturing, design and vehicle assembly to marketing and repairs.
“European Mobility Week” has been celebrated from the 16th to 22 September. This year motto: “Zero-emission mobility for all”. Participants showcased the continent’s ambitious carbon neutral objectives for 2050 as was stated by the President of the European Commission during the presentation of the European Green Deal.
Digitalization is part of the Spanish automotive suppliers’ DNA. The sector invests every year more than 4% of the billing (€1,458 million in 2019) in R&D&I. It places Spain as a country of reference worldwide.
